With over 20 years of experience in behavioral health and human services, Melissa Giampietri is a passionate and visionary leader whose mission is to improve behavioral health delivery systems to achieve the quadruple aim of healthcare: enhancing patient experience, improving population health, reducing costs, and supporting provider well-being.
Melissa’s career is uniquely balanced, with nearly half dedicated to service delivery and leadership roles in community mental health, and the other half to solution consulting and commercial leadership roles within leading behavioral health technology (EHR) companies. This dual expertise allows her to deeply understand behavioral health delivery systems, the technological solutions that support them to improve care and reduce administrative burden, and how to effectively commercialize tech solutions in the behavioral health market.
Melissa now serves as the founder and chair of the board of Cognitive Solutions, where she provides operational and technology guidance to provider organizations and vendors. She holds an MBA in Healthcare Management, which she leverages to help behavioral healthcare organizations apply business concepts alongside technology, driving improvements in both margins and missions.
